Chicken Tikka

Ingredients:

• 500g boneless chicken (cut into cubes)

• 1 cup yogurt

• 1 tablespoon ginger paste

• 1 tablespoon garlic paste

• 1 tablespoon lemon juice

• 2 teaspoons cumin powder

• 2 teaspoons coriander powder

• 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

• 1 teaspoon paprika

• 1 teaspoon garam masala

• Salt to taste

• 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions:

• In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, lemon juice, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, paprika, garam masala, and salt to taste.

• Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well to ensure the chicken is well coated. Cover the bowl and marinate the chicken for at least 2-3 hours, or overnight in the fridge.

• Soak the skewers in water for 10-15 minutes to prevent them from burning.

• Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

• Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the skewers, leaving some space between each piece.

• Brush the chicken with oil and place the skewers on a baking tray.

• Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
